Jay Adams wrote many years ago that people tend to give three excuses for irresponsible dealings with problems. They say “No one understands what I’m going through” or “This is too much for me to handle” or “There is no way out.” He took 1 Corinthians 10:13 and refuted each of these excuses. This Bible study is an adaptation of the insight that Jay Adams has presented in his material. As I learned it from him, I put it in my own words and taught to my congregation and counselees.
